ASSUPOL LIFE was established in 1913. Over all these years we have remained loyal to our core business of meeting the crisis needs (death, disability, dread disease) as well as the investment needs of our clients.

Up to the 1990s Assupol Life's business model was to service niche markets and this approach served the interest of our clients well and enabled us to deliver service of a very high standard. Assupol Life was therefore not well-known in the general insurance market because it remained focused on the servicing of selected markets.

The niche markets that we served were the SAPS, Department of Correctional Services and other state employees. Since the 1990s we started servicing the general insurance market selectively, with great success.

Assupol Life has seen many changes since 1913. It is not only a tremendous achievement to survive in the Financial Industry for such a long period of time, but it also means that we have gained a great deal of experience.
